Miss Montserrado Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the official platform of Miss Montserrado. These Terms and Conditions govern your application, participation, and engagement with the pageant. By accessing this website or submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility 

  • Must be a citizen of Liberia

  • Must be a resident of Montserrado County 

  • Must be between the ages of 18 – 28 years

  • Must be single, never married, and without children

  • Must be a high school graduate (WASSCE or equivalent)

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

  • Must be of good moral character

  • Must have no criminal record

  • Must be physically and mentally fit

  • Must be available for all pageant activities (trainings, rehearsals, outreach, and events)

  • Must be willing to represent a district within Montserrado County

  • Must demonstrate confidence, leadership, and discipline

  • Must uphold the values of the pageant: “Beauty, Leadership & Sustainable Development”

  • Must agree to abide by all rules and decisions of the organizing committee

  • Must provide accurate and truthful information at all time

2. Application & Selection

Submission of an application does not guarantee selection

  • The Organization reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion

  • All decisions made by the selection panel are final and binding

3. Participation Requirements

Contestants agree to:

  • Attend all scheduled trainings, rehearsals, and official events

  • Be punctual, disciplined, and respectful at all times

  • Comply with all instructions from the organizing team

  • Maintain professionalism on and off stage

Failure to comply may result in suspension or disqualification.

4. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

  • Uphold good behavior and positive representation

  • Refrain from misconduct, violence, or inappropriate actions

  • Avoid any behavior that may damage the reputation of the pageant

  • Use social media responsibly and respectfully

5. Financial Policy

  • Any applicable fees are non-refundable

  • Contestants are responsible for personal expenses unless otherwise stated 

  • The Organization is not responsible for third-party financial obligations

6. Media & Image Rights

By participating, contestants:

  • Grant the Organization full rights to use their name, image, voice, and likeness for promotional purposes

  • Agree that such materials may be used without additional compensation

  • Acknowledge that all official media content remains the property of the Organization

7. Titleholder Responsibilities

  • Winners agree to:

  • Represent Miss Montserrado / Miss Globe Liberia with dignity and professionalism

  • Participate in all official events and appearances

  • Uphold the theme: “Beauty, Leadership & Sustainable Development”

  • Not engage in conflicting pageants without approval

8. Prizes & Awards

  •   Prizes are subject to sponsor availability

  •   The Organization reserves the right to substitute prizes if necessary

  •   Prizes may be withdrawn if obligations are not met

9. Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified for:

  • Providing false information

  • Violating rules

  • Misconduct

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be resolved amicably or through mediation.

 11. Limitation of Liability

  • The Organization is not liable for indirect damages, injuries, or losses.

  • Liability shall not exceed any amount paid by contestant.

  • Terms may be updated at any time.

14. Acceptance

By applying, you agree to all terms.
